I need new pumps, how high should I buy?

Don't know how high you like to go. I personally have my work shoes which are my 4" and 5" and I have my going out shoes which are my 5.5" and my 6" I also have a pair of 7" heels that have a platform to them, super sexy...but only wear for a few hours at a time. Like out to dinner etc. I have 6" spikes that I prance around the house in. And I am still working my way into those ballet shoes! It all depends on the environment. Personally I would recommend a 5" for going out. And 6" for the house/bedroom.

As long as they are comfortable to stand on for at least an hour or two. Don't get heels that are higher than 4 inches because shoes beyond that height are not easy to walk in. Also, wearing heels that are too high will cause back pain in the long run.

It would depend on where you are going to wear them(work, school, the clubs) and what heel height you are comfortable with. I would suggest something between 3" and 5".

Measure the distance from your big toe to your heel. Don't go any higher than that.

3" heels are about the highest I can wear comfortably.

for good posture, 2 inch heels are recommended

go as high as you want just as long as your'e comfortable
