I had an abortion and did not take the pills they perscribed because I couldnt afford them can this harm me?

You really really NEED to be taking those pills. Don't forget that an abortion is a surgical proceedure with a significant infection rate. If you cannot afford those anti-biotics, call your doctor or Planned Parenthood ASAP and see if you can get cheaper ones that do the same thing. Because those pills are absolutely necessary.

hey miss thang no not taking the pills won't harm you but if it was something to stop an infection talk to your doctor, because you don't want that.
I wanted to talk to you about the devil, your reply to someone else question, but anyway I'm 21 and i use to think that the devil didn't exist to until i read the bible for myself just to see what it was all about. but people said the the devil is red and has horns and a tail but really its not like that at all. see from what i read in the bible it says that he was an angel, and God gave even angels a choice to choose right or wrong. the devil choose wrong and now he's doomed for hell and its not under the ground, not literally speaking. I'm 21 now and since I've excepted Jesus my life has more balance. excepting Jesus does not mean you have to be perfect, God knows people are going to mess up some times , but he looks at your attempt to do right

Uh, they prescribed them for you for a reason!

If you can't afford to have an abortion and all that goes with it... don't have sex! You can get a box of condoms a lot cheaper (about $8 at CVS) or even free at the local free clinic.

I recommend you go to the doc ASAP, as those pills are designed to help you fight off infection!

Any time the doctor prescribes you a pill you should take them. There is a reason this pill was prescribed to you. You could have gone to the pharmacy to see if they had a generic alternative that would have been cheaper. You should see your doctor to find out is this has harmed you.

They are probably antibiotics to help your body fight off infection. Check with your doctor, but if you don't take them and get an infection, you could greatly increase your risk of being infertile. Call your doctor ASAP!

they gave them to you to prevent an infection. it happened to me too but they gave me the pills (was part of the payment). But i did not come back again to be checked. i didnt feel sick after that. I came back to my normal life. but after 2 years of that I'm starting to feel sad about it...

They're probably penicillin or antibiotics of some type. It probably would've been a good idea for you to get them.
