Here's my round-up, 4 days prior to kick-off:
- England - great chance of winning, lots of things going in their favor. On a high, best team England has ever had in a World Cup. Heavy pro: a european club
- Netherlands - also great singular players, but the team is unsure of itself. The germans don't like the dutch, so they will be affected negativly by the "12th player"
Brazil - the favourites. The bookies have Brazil at 3.5:1. Only negative (like Argentina): the South-American teams have always had trouble in Europe.
France - team is not "working", T. Henry a great striker, but somehow I have bad vibes about this team.
Italy and Spain - sorry, but so typical for BOTH of these teams to just blow it somehow.
Sweden - super outsiders, a longshot together with Czekloslavakia (spelling) If you're a gambler but 10 EUROS on these guys.
Argentina - a mentioned above, south-american teams in Europe have their problems. Top favourites to win it all. Would surprise me though.
AND FINALLY THE GERMANS: Home Advantage which is it's weight in gold. Individual players quite average, Ballack is still in my opinion over-rated. They have an easy group, and their probable "road" to the finals is also easy, in a World Cup sense of things. They should make it without too much trouble to the half-finals. And they're a "tournament team", whether u like it or not.
Therefore (it hurts to say) my money is on BRAZIL or GERMANY.

I'm supporting several teams in this world cup but any of them iis England. However I would like ateam like Australia or Serbia and Montenegro to go far. But to tell you the truth the team that can win if England is kicked out is Argentina.

The Netherlands. Definitely not Germany. Ideal would be these two countries and England and Argentina in the semi finals with England and The Netherlands playing the final.

Holland, or France. Or an team that not many see as winning, like when liverpool won the champions league, along with porto or when Greece won Euro 2004. I think that would be cool to see.

Ghana I'd love to see them win it would be such and upset. But if not Ghana, Italy, Spain, Holland, France or any other small team that would cause an upset if they won ie Togo.
