Yes, that is true you can have a menstaral cycle while you are pregnant while you are trying to concieve and after birth. The utrine wall will continue to shed and the bleeding is known as spotting however if it is a full flow period then you should really see a doctor as it could be a serious sign of physical distress. NOTE depending on your ovulation cycle and the flow of your period will determine possibility of getting pregnant. As well there are times during your cycle when you cant get pregnant after you have expelled the egg and ovulation has not started yet, but that is really too risky to attempt becase not matter how you know youreself you don't know timing unless you are already on a schedual for ovulation.

Yes. When my mother was pregnant with me, see still had periods throughout the whole pregnancy, and since she still had her period she didn't find out that she was pregnant with me until she was 5 months pregnant.

Yes - I knew someone who never missed a period and found out when she was SIX MONTHS pregnant!! (she went to the doctor because she was feeling "funny"). Best to have a pregnacy test to be sure, if it's a possibility.

It is very possible. I had friends who were 5 months along because they were still having their periods before they found out. If you have symptoms the best thing to do is to go ahead and take a test. If it's positive you can start taking care of yourself. If it's negative you can take a huge stress off your mind.

I've spoken to women who didn't know they were pregnant until their seventh month because they were still getting their periods and hadn't gained much weight. If you think you may be pregnant, get a home test.
