Eeeeew you poor thing. I recently had a wax down there, totally against my free will i may add, because my daughter is currently doing her exams in beauty therapy. She said that you should avoid waxing that area during your period as it often hurts far more, also use powder before and a good after wax cooling gel or powder afterwards. Avoid tight underwear and if it is sore keep the area clean and dry and use the gel. I used a nappy rash cream when it became quite sore.

Is this wax you've used before? If not, did you do a patch test? I know it always says you should, and I never do, but I regretted it last time I used a new kind of waxing strips and ended up having an allergic reaction to them - this was on my face, not down there, but I'd imagine the skin down there is probably even more sensitive than the skin on your face!
I know you said you always like to use a panty iner alongside your tampon, but if you're just in the house, do you really need to? In fact, do you need to wear knickers at all? It would probably be good if you could remove anything that's irritating the area.
And nappy rash cream as someone else suggested would probably be a good idea if the irritation is particularly bad. Hope it feels better soon!

You're the girl who had the mini-orgasms yesterday? (See... some of us remember).
You need to cover the whole mons (the "fatty bump" ) in aloe vera, or camomile lotion. Basically reduce the irritation and begin healing. Your period will flood that area with horomones and increased blood supply so things will go faster - including healing if you facilitate the conditions.
I hope things get better soon - shaving and waxing "down there2 takes practice - don't give up just be careful. Have fun!

Oiiiii!! Im feeling for you..
There are many reasons as to why you are still sore down there, did you used to shave before? or maybe using creams? these make the hair grow thicker and maybe the one who did for you pulled alittle too hard.
Maybe you were near your Ps or you had just finished them these times are not good as the skin is so sensitive at that time always do it a week after your Ps.
Avoid tight panties, try sleeping without them at night and use cold cream after you shower. keep the area mosturised all the time.
good luck and dont worry it will get better and once you are used to it like i am it will be a breeze. (If you get it done again)

Your skin has been injured. Aloe extract is a good idea, but to be really effective, it has to be applied every 3 hours or so. If you store the aloe i the 'fridge it will feel good when you apply it.
Also, try airing it out when you get some time to yourself.
