I know it is a sin to become a homosexual.But my future happiness is at stake.I believe in God and the bible.I also know how people scrutinize homosexuals and I dont want to be treated that way.But Im becoming unhappy suppressing the real me.But i know I will be unhappy too if i lose my job and the respect of my friends and family.They would think im "eeewww".And it hurts just to think about it.People makes nasty remarks over lesbianism, but they do not know how we truly feel and the battle not to become one.I want to be happy now.But i dont know which way to go.

Sometimes u cant change things like that, unfortunalty. However life isnt over and in the end your happiness comes before all others. Just remember your sexuality is a just a small part of u thats nobodies business. Be happy, but dont let it being a lesbian define u. People will respect u for that.

Oh sweety, I can see this is hard for you, but I don't think you will ever be happy if you deny who you are. Do you really think your family and friends would shun you if they knew how you felt, how you are struggling with this? Is there nobody you could slowly take into your confidence for some emotional support? If you believe in a God who loves you, why would he punish you for loving another human being, whatever their sex. Surely there are far worse things in the world for this God to worry about than a little happiness for a lesbian. I don;t want to argue your faith, but keep in mind that the bible is written by men, not God, (and not women). As far as I know, the thing you guys celebrate about Jesus is that he loved even those who did not (according to society and the old testament) deserve it. Live your life fully and happily and true to yourself - that's the best you can do, and it is good enough. Be brave! Good luck.

Hun, you are what you are and god will love you no matter what. I believe in God, but i also believe that he accepts people for the way they are, you are doing no harm to people. I have a gay friend who is a big believer in God, and he manages to live his life fine. If your friends are truly your friends they will not lose respect for you just because you like girls. Your family might suprise you by accepting you as you, but you will never know until you tell them. Admit what you are, It's the only way that anyone will find true happiness.

You answered your question yourself. Why fight what you believe you may be when it's making you unhappy. Who said you have to tell everyone. There are people who lead lives privately, if your friends and family truly care about you why would they treat you differently for being who you truly are. Your best course of action is to follow your heart, stop caring what other people think and care about you and your happiness....

Dont try 2 be what your not. It's your life not God's. Im very religious too but im not homo. my buds make fun of them because there different. homosexuals are there is nothing wrong with that. Im only in 6th grade. But my friends say "ohhhh my god boys are such a*s*s*es" and dont like them. and when i say "ohh so your a lesbo" they say "NOOOOO!" But i do gotta admit that the boys in my school are ugly. I rather be lesbo than kiss them!

Just be yourself don't care about what others think. if you are happy the way you are than you shouldn't change. But if you really want to change than i believe that you should pray about it. And ask your god to help you through it.

if you are a lesbian then you are a lesbian...this is not something you can change...you can deny yourself who you really are and live a miserable life or be true to yourself and live your life happily...do not worry about other people and what they think, this is your life, not theirs'...by the way, homosexuality is not a sin...show me the passage in the bible where it explicitly states this

you say you know it's wrong. sounds to me you are fishing for approval. well, you're not getting it from me. i too know that it is wrong. you must resist and turn away from such evil and ask God for guidance. don't play around with this stuff either; the longer you dwell in this wickedness the stronger its grip in your life until finally you have become ensnared. so turn away from it, NOW!!
