I am with Sprint, and my phone reception stinks. Does anyone own a good model sprint phone u would recommend ?

Dude, i have a Samsung MM-900 (Blade) and it has excellent reception. The only negative I can point out is that it has a low talk time. Only about three to four hours. Stand-by time is good, talk time could be better. Reception is superior in my area.

I highly recommend the Sanyo SCP-200 ...it gets wonderful reception. It doesn't have web access (no downloading ringers on this one) BUT it is known to have strong reception where weaker phones may not. It comes in pink, silver, or blue.

The Sanyo SCP-3100 and SCP-2300 have the same basic design/chassis with more features, and I suspect they also would have excellent reception.

Ask Sprint (you can dial *2 or call [phone]) about your service area and what the problem is; I have found it to be excellent on both coasts. In weak/rural areas or indoors with thick walls the phone DOES make a difference. An external (slidey) antenna helps. If your problem is with genuinely dropping calls, you can get credit for a limited number of drops on your bill each month at *2.

I work for 'Sprint' (But I am truly a Nextel Rep) Sprint is horrible. And their reception is going down the drain!!! Switch to Nextel!!!! lol.

No there's no thank you to alter towers. Verizon and sprint use distinctive radio frequencys. Plus they now no longer use Verizon's community. The others telephones they have use ether ATT's or T-cellular's community.

SANYO- it is the best that you will find through them. . . it is probably more expensive but sooooooooooooo worth it
