When I first married my husband he would occasionally spank me for things he said I needed discipline but now it seems he looks for every opportunity and I am getting fed up with this. Sometimes it really hurts alot. Do many men spank their wives and how do they deal with it..the wives and the husbands???

There are many people who live in a domestic discipline relationship where the spankings are real. If you want to learn more about it join one of the Yahoo groups. If you're a Christian, Christian Domestic Discipline is an excellent group. You can also go to the Loving Domestic Discipline website or Firmly and Fondly website to learn more about it (do Google searches).

My husband spanks me for punishment, but it happens only rarely. I hate it when it does because it really does hurt. I love him more for being willing to do it, though.

I disagree with the lady who says wife spanking is wrong because husbands are to love their wives as Christ loves the Church. Christ loves the Church, but he also chastizes the Church in love. Husbands are given authority over their wives. There is no place in the Bible where someone is given authority over another without the means to back up that authority. The same Greek word used for the government's authority over citizens and master's authority over slaves is used for husband's authority over wives (hupatasso). I think a husband has the right to punish a disobedient wife, but he also has to be loving her as Christ loved the Church--remember He died for the Church.

Well this is more common than what you might think. Its just that people don't talk about it. You see back in the older days it was normal and expected for a man to spank his wife for misbehaving, being rude, or being defiant. It doesn't happen as much today but people do live these kind of Lifestyles, they call it loving domestic dicsipline. My man and I enjoy erotic spankings and I must say that I love it.We role play the whole naughty wife is going to get spanked thing but it actually does happen in real life.My man spanked me once(like a for real spanking, you know he was pissed and was for an actual punishment)when he caught me taking too many of my pain pills than I was supposed to and I mean he spanked me hard and I would never tell him this but I even enjoyed that even though it was supposed to be a punishment not for pleasure like it usually is.Even during foreplay I like my spankings to be really hard.He left 7 bruises in all on my asss. But you are not the only one who has this lifestyle, if it is bothering you, then I suggest you tell him how you feel before things get out of hand.Or you should both lay down some boundaries if you are willing to continue the spankings.I have to ask you, you dont find pleasure at all from the spankings? You should probably look at this website for more information, it is very informative: http://lovingdd.blogspot.com/

I hope I helped!!

This is absolutely rediculous and seems no different to me than physical abuse. Aside from a playful/pleasurable kind in the bedroom occasionally... to actually use this as a means to moderate your behavior as if you deserve this, is uncalled for and not right at all.

I'm not sure where you live, but I think culture may have something do with it. No where in the Scriptures does it permit men to touch their wives physically, even spanking. It says they are to treat them as their own bodies, as Christ treated the flock, with tenderness and care. I am not sure what he thinks gives him the right to do this, since it's clearly not God-given.

As sad as it is though, domestic abuse is very prevalent. But don't stand for that treatment. No husbands have the right to hit their wives in anyway.

I am not sure I understand, so help me out a little. Is he spanking you for things he actually gets angry about? Or is this a kind of game where he isn't really mad and just enjoys it? My boyfriend will spank me once in a while, but not real hard or anything. It is like a sex game. But if he is getting angry and punishing you for real and hurting you, then that is abuse. You can have him arrested for that.

I am not trying to be mean but thats funny only because I am trying to picture it and I would so slap him if it really bothered me. Kinda sounds like your husband is into some s&m crap. Your an adult if you don't want to be spanked tell him and if that doesn't work slap him around and see how he likes it ...if he does like it , it is a form of s&m ...men are so controlling its redicoulos and tell him to discipline a child or a dog not his wife.

Sounds like your husband has a fetish, perhaps he is kinkier than you know. Might I suggest you just ask him about it? Don't make it a heavy conversation, just mention it in a non-confrontational way (if that's even possible). Perhaps he saw his parents do this? Do you think this could be a sexual thing or purely disciplionary?

he needs some serious help! Although some women are turned on by it in sexual situations, you've made no mention of whether or not sex is one of those times which he spanks you. So if it's not, get him some help!

he is using it as an excuse to HIT you. husbands do not spank wives unless it is a mutual decision and they both get pleasure from it. what he is doing is called ABUSE. find a women's group that deals with domestic violence and seek some help/support
