What does it mean when you call somebody red neck?

it's a derogatory term that people use to denote someone who lives out in the country the way god intended. you see, so many people live packed up against each other in cities that they have lost touch with the fact that man was made to live in the woods. and these cities that they seem to love so much are nothing more than open sores on the face of the earth. can the weight of a large city on the earth and the weight of all of them put together be a healthy thing for the earth? have you ever wondered what the old testament meant when it talked about the weight of wickedness on the earth? i'm not saying city dwellers are any more wicked then anyone else, i'm asking if the physical weight of all the large cities combined couldn't bring on some earth change that might not be beneficial to mankind.

It means that his neck is red. Not really. The phrase was coined for southerners farmers (their neck become red on the sun) who hated everything that was not white. Today is simple means any white that is close minded.

Redneck refers to an individual living in the southern U.S., appalachians, Rocky Mountains, and Ozarks. It is the same as calling someone a hillbilly or cracker.

It means you are kinda mean , nasty , dumb , hick like, insult others, want to fight all the time , not work much, and get a sunburn on your neck from not wearing sunscreen which proves your dumb !

rednecks are like hillbillies, you know who wear overalls, big scruffy beards, old broken down mobil homes, they also take pleasure in hunting and shooting at roadside signs ugh! (just got back from Rednack Arkansas!)
