I've heard of that. Your body is putting all its energy and nutrients towards the baby, so your hair gets shortchanged. It should go back after she's born.

When I was pregnant last year with my son I started losing my hair like crazy. It got thin as well. My doctor said that it was normal and that some women get thicker hair & some lose it and get thinner. It's because of a hormonal imbalance.

Soon enough, after you give birth and your hormones even out, your hair will start to grow back to normal, although it's texture may be different.

Hormone changes during pregnancy can affect you all over. I used to have really straight hair but after birthing my third child who was the only boy I now have thick naturally curly hair. He is now four but I have been told this could change anytime. So it is possible that it will return to normal after your pregnancy.

Yes, I have read on this and I am a pre-med major, anyway its due to hormonal inbalance due to the pregnancy also it is common for women to lose their teeth. But once you have gave birth your hair will grow back to the norm.

my hair became thin and fell out with my daughter but it did not do it with my son. Your hair will grow back after the pregnancy so dont worry about anything.

i know every pregnancy is different, but hair is suposed to get thicker when you're pregnant and nails too... ask your doctor- you could be malnutritioned.
