I loved the movie! I thought it was a lot of fun, I thoroughly enjoyed how they managed to incorporate so many fairy tales into the movie & I thought the special effects were terrific! I don't think it received sufficient press, nor do I think it was marketed properly because it had the hallmarks of a great movie but Hollywood didn't get behind it. It would have done better with a different release time & probably a better advertising campaign. That's like when Disney released Haunted Mansion (Eddie Murphy) in November instead of before Halloween - it fell flat on its face. Brothers Grimm could have done so much better!

I thought it was a nice story. Interesting direction, terry gilliam is always a treat to watch. I thought that Heath Ledger and Matt Damon tried to stretch themselves by playing against their characters. I like fantasy and that's what this was.

Didn't like it, the comedy wasn't really my type of comedy.
Jim Carrey can make me laugh in a second, it took the whole movie to get half a chuckle from me.

I don't think that movie was intended to be a comedy movie. But I thought it was creative how they intertwind the fairy tales together to make the story. Have you seen it?
