my husband and i just moved to a town, family is a couple hours away. My husband works alot so i'm home with the dog, I want to get out and do something or get involved but i don't know what to do, or how i go about doing it. We met people in church, but everyone is a bit older and has kids, we're a younger couple and don't have any kids yet, I'm a country girl that wants to find something to do. Thanks!

Welcome to the southern bell part of the country!

I am from GA, and its very different from being in NYC. I lived in NYC for a long time, but Im slowly getting used to living in Atlanta. There are a few things you can do with your dog like take him to a dog park or a trail walk...there are even places where you can take your dog to where he can learn tricks and be active with other dogs.

You can sign up with your community to play sports or you can sign up with community clubs where they go shopping together, play games together, and even go to movies together. These community clubs will set you up with people like yourself. You can go shopping since bringing your hubby to go shopping is probably exhausting =D

I am not sure which state youre in, so maybe you can ask your neighbors and some community event clubs what stuff you can do in your area?
