What if you slept?
And what if,
In your sleep
You dreamed?
And what if,
In your dream,
You went to Heaven
And there plucked
A strange and
Beautiful flower?
And what if,
When you awoke,
You had the flower
In your hand?

Ah... what then?

Samuel Taylor Coleridge

Bridging the gap between subconscious and conscious. Thought happens all the time.

I dream about things I am not doing, it takes a moment to realize they could not happen, because I was lying in bed and not doing an activity that could cause it to happen.

To take it as trivial, but as pointed as I can get it, I dream about getting a unique item out of an Internet video game. The Item does not exist, it is a video game. Since I was not playing at the computer game though, I could not have obtained that non existent item, because the computer and I was not playing the game.

So I could not have obtained the non-existent item because I was not playing the game I was dreaming about.

Someone give me a flower.

Yeah, it is really getting that bad. Thanks for asking.

For me it is a metaphor meant to describe that when going through life, as long as we keep doing the next "right" thing or live by the Golden Rule, we will find the beauty that we seek at the end. And that we should not be so concerned over the goal of the day.

I think if it is just something you found, like on the internet, that it is putting a bridge between Heaven and Earth. If it is something that happened to you.. if you have that kind of flower around your house you were probably sleep walking...if not....that's crazy in a cool way.

I think it's got a lot of meanings in it. One of them is this: we spend a lot of time wanting stuff, but what will we do if we actually get it? You want the impossible, and then suddenly it's possible and you've got it, what now? Will you appreciate it, or just move on to wanting something else? Getting what you want is really only the beginning.

Either sleepwalking or the potency of your dreams are manifesting themselves in real life to help you achieve your goals.

I think that it indicates the desire that we all have to have power beyond belief. Actually, I believe that we ARE powerful beyond belief, but we just haven't discovered it yet. (Well, at least not everyone has discovered it.)
