Why do people see this act as an act of weakness, giving head or receiving anal is not a sign of weakness. I feel in total control and in fact can do all the right things to make him go crazy. I am in control when I engage in this form of sex.So why do we see this as submissive or weak?

it's a patriarchal culture that define women as weak. In sex women are seen as the bottom for receiving the penetrations. therefore any act or behavior that seen as women are define as weak and submissive.

It might be that some people need to see this position as being "weak" and "submissive" simply so that they seem superior or "in control".
It is certainly easier to give than to receive and I admire those who are able to anally receive - for I am unable to do so without great discomfort and pain.
For any of my sex partners I have never viewed nor seen as weak nor will I ever.

most who do not know any better see it as being a slave. that is different than being a bottom. whether you are a top or bottom or a master or a slave are all choices we make to enjoy life. not a sign of being weak. i choose to be a slave, i choose to let some one tie me up and use me. that's my choice. i am not weak. i just like to do that for fun. one one in my real would know about that side of me. Thad would never guess i could ever be dominated by some else. i let them dominate me. for fun and love. i hope to clear to all those who do not understand where we come from when we say we are a bottom or we are a slave. their is a difference and both are choices. I don't think that is a sign of weakness. If anything, I feel completely in control of my lover and the moment when I am in this position.

It takes a man to handle a whopper . I am versatile when it comes to sex with another man and I enjoy both top and bottom . Nothing pleases me more than to have a hot bottom working on my shaft . I never feel superior or dominate in the position of top . In the position of bottom I would agree with you and say that I feel in total control and like to drive my partner crazy with desire .

i wasn't aware that people did, and i think those that do are just, well, not very bright. i wouldn't worry about what they think or why they think it, you know better and thats all that really counts. besides i think sex is one of those subjects where people 'talk' a certain game when they are talking about it, they say what they think the others around them want to hear, what will make them look cool, but when they are in the bedroom its a whole different story and hopefully, its more about what feels good, if they stay that talking idiot when they are there i bet they spend alot of time in their bedrooms alone!

there are a lot of guys out there who are strong inteh belief that people who top are butch and macho and people who bottom are camp and queeny. camp and queeny ppl are considered more weak, hense the submissive and not exactly dominant assumption

I think it is viewed as weak by straight people who don't understand or are too narrow minded to think about it. They probably think about it as a rape scenario like in prison.
