I'm going into 7th grade and i'm 12 years old. I'm 5'9''. I'm supposed to reach 6'0'' according to my docter. So i was wondering if other people will be the same height as me and if my height could hold me back from doing things.

Well hon, you'll never be a jockey. And you can kiss being a petite model goodbye forever. Chimney sweeping is out too. There are probably others, but I can't think of any more offhand.

So assuming none of those were your dream jobs, the only negative aspect your height will have is whatever you allow it to have.

Stand up straight and don't be shy. It's difficult to be taller than average (or so I hear, I wouldn't know), but believe me, you won't appear shorter by slouching. Use it to your advantage.

The biggest advantage I can think of is that there isn't a motorcycle out there you won't be able to handle.

Why would you think that? Height has nothing to do with what you can achieve in your life, unless you want to work in a particular field, such as being a basketball player or super model( you can't be short for those careers). You are a tall height, many people will be shorter then you.

might as well walk tall-it will be hard to hide in a crowd-certainly see no reason for it to hold you back-lots of love keep the peace old hippie
