The type of offense has allot to do with how they should be treated. Naturally there is something wrong with them and just kicking their *** or worse will not do any good. If they were not sick they would not focus on children. Perhaps learning the reason they did what they did could prevent others from making their mistake. I suspect you will find some parent was negligent in watching their child or caring for the child and it opened the opportunity for the sex offender to abuse the child. Society must learn prevention thru treatment and vigilance not radical actions and abuse.
