It's not the idea of looking pretty. It's the idea of that person feeling better about their self. When you feel down in the dumps thats what ladies do. They do small things like apply make-up,change haircuts or even hair color, and some even lose 10 to 15lbs to boost their self esteem.

I think if its applied correctly and the right shades are used it can help accentuate peoples beauty. Makeup is a beauty enhancer not a miracle worker. The beauty has to be there. Focus on whats naturally there and help make it better.

Beauty comes from within. If you are educated, well bred and smart with a good fresh skin , you will look pretty. Use minimum make up only to enhance your features on some occasions.

A lot of people feel they look better in makeup and they smile more when they're wearing makeup. Smiling simply makes people prettier, but if it takes a made-up face to make them smile, then I definitely say yes to your question.

Make-up was created to accent a woman's natural beauty. Too much make-up will make a girl look tacky and fake. Little make-up will make a girl look fresh and pretty. No make-up, I think, will make a girl look confident and beautiful.

It depends on how much a person uses. If you cake a lot on, then it looks unnatural, but if you use it to enhance your natural features it's a great tool.

I think that makeup enhances your features if you wear it correctly, some people pile it on and that isn't pretty.
You shouldn't think that if you wear makeup it will make u pretty, if you think that then you need too re-evaluate how you see yourself.
