I use a debit card for online purchases. It is accepted at most places in place of a credit card. The only issue I've ever had with it was when I was trying to rent a car. They would only accept credit cards, which is understandable considering I don't often have alot of money in the bank. You can also set up a Paypal account, through which you can make online purchases.

First you need to calm down OK? I used to feel just like you of course not as strongly, but when you want to get a car or house loan, you will be sorry that you never built any credit. Credit cards are for most of us, the first step to building credit and then of course paying your bills on time. Even though you have cash in the bank, this does not give companies a history on you, they don't know you so they have to find out about you through your spending and paying habits hence the credit report. Lastly, it is more convenient to pay by credit card for airline tickets and on line purchases, otherwise you will have to wait for your check or money order to get there and be verified and then wait for the item to get to you. That Sucks!!

I don't have any credit cards either, but I do have a Visa debit card through my bank. You can still book flights, motel rooms, and buy things online with it, but the funds come directly out of your bank account.
