No. He is a cry baby that stirs drama among everyone. It is hard to know who he is. (Cross Town show down punch, "Drop Third" in the world series, and who has not seen him break his bat for striking out). He is a drama stirring child in my opinion. He isn't that good of a baseball player either. I think that he is one of the people the White Sox should replace. Not good at batting and sucks at catching. I don't care if you don't pick my answer as the best. It shouldn't be any of your White Sox buddies, because the best answer is one that answers the question, not how others say he is awesome to promote their team as perfect. The White Sox aren't perfect. True, they won the world series, but that doesn't mean that they have the best player in the MLB, and certainly not every year. It's Just show that annoying White Sox favortiveism and ********* all of you have. I'm a Cubs fan that likes the White Sox team minus a few players because of their crap attitudes. That, and the annoying fans/announcers keep me from routing for a winning team.
Applying to F*** Barret, are you cursing at him because he is a better player? Michael Barrett in my opinion, is an all star worthy catcher. AJ is probably one of the worst catchers in baseball. Mad because he punched AJ because he just ran him over on a close play he should have slid on, because AJ was cocky and slapped the base the way he did, then running towards the Cubs dugout into the arms of Michael Barret. AJ finally got what was coming to him in that situation. Then, you have the Sox dugout that comes out to fight and Pod and Anderson lashing out at Barret and innocent players such as Mabry. That was just stupid baseball. If that is why your swearing at Michael Barret, fine. AJ will see himself getting more of what he is asking for eventually.

AJ is a players player. Other teams hate him because he's an instigator on the field(2nd playoff game against the angels/the marty barrett sucker punch). He's an awesome player, not very patient at the plate but so what. His defense could use a little work(throws to second). But all in all I think he makes things happen.

I love AJ but he's like the kid who makes trouble in the back of the classroom and then gets upset when he's accused of doing it...like a modern day Eddie Haskill
But then again it's not his fault the umpire gave him 1st base in Game 2 of the ALCS

Im a huge white sox fan and I couldnt be happier with him. I do admit however I wouldnt if he wasnt on the sox. He is great at frustrating other teams and making them play on edge. In addition his pitch calls are great for managing games. His catching last year was a big part of the sox pitching success.
