I doubt they'll get through, as they're playing Brazil in the first round, but what do you think?

i think japan and brazil might qualify for the group stage. then again, australia is the underdog... and they seem pretty good this time around. in the friendly between netherlands and australia, they drew. thats not bad, dont u think?
but it'd be fun to see japan in the finals. imagine if brazil didn't qualify... that'd be the joke of the centuary. *have to be honest, i wouldnt mind seeing that happen*

every team have a chance in the world cup but some team like brazil r more like it to win it but is a short cup so if u make a mistake u r out of it

Brazil should be them handily, and Croatia should have no problem with them. The best chance at a win will be against Australia.
So unless they get lucky and can draw a tie with Croatia or beat them somehow, their chances are slim.

Japan had chances to qualified before they were defeated yesterday, I believe they could not pass the first round.
