Will people with just the old version be able to see and hear everything I send them or will they have to upgrade as well? (Such as audibles,and the new smileys ect..)

Yes, they will need the same version of you to see the same things you do. If they have a higher version and they have features that you dont, then you will not be able to use the same features. If they have voice, but you dont, then you will not be able to use voice...and vice versa. If they have smileys that you dont, then you will see the actual characters used for those smileys, but not the smiley itself. Im sure you can download them manually though.
