For someone to dream of their boy/girlfriend cheating on them with someone neither them or their boy/girlfriend like very much and then for the dreamer to go off and kill aliens and then get killed by one of them because they were thinking of what their boy/girlfriend had just done?

I should have said this before: It wasn't MY dream, it was my bf's and he told me about it so I was just wondering what it meant...

It could mean that the very thought of your boyfriend cheating on you takes you to places in your head that is "out there" (hence, the aliens/murder/etc). This is true for most of us, I suppose, so don't worry too much about it. I think it's good that it was someone neither of you knows, because that probably means there is no basis for a real suspicion. If you have recurring dreams that bother you, write them down and then read what you wrote and burn the paper. That can help them cease. It worked for my girlfriend.

Dreams are our subconscious working things out, and the images you see are based on what you connect with the thoughts and problems you are working through.
As an example you may see aliens in a dream about your boyfriend, because you see your boyfriend as foreign and untouchable, like aliens. Or you could see your boyfriend as destructive and mean, like aliens.
It all depends on how you see each image, since it is your brain that is making them. Something may seem silly, but if you subconsciously think of dancing bears when you think of your parents, or giant snails when you think of your job, or you think about war when you are angry, then your dreams will show that.
Since dreams work things out subconsciously, you really don't need to know what they mean. That doesn't mean you cant find out, but you will have to do that on your own.
Its your brain, we're just spectators:)

Honestly, I don't put much weight into dreams, because even if you start to have a seemingly meaningful dream, it is always topped off by aliens or Brad Pitt doing the hula in your face or something, ya know? Like, when you recant your dreams to people because you really think you've got something, it sounds ridiculous.

For the first part, it shows you're insecure. I used to have that one all the time, and then be pissed off at him for cheating..lol. But, anyhow, don't worry too much, he likely isn't...I had a dream book that actually tried to dispell these fears by saying that if you dreampt that they were cheating it really meant that they were madly in love with only you. Best wishes

As far as the cheating thing goes, whenever I dream of my boyfriend cheating on me, its because I sub consciously think he is or might be. Come to find out , that whole womens intuition thing is not bluff, because he was. The Alien thing might be just an act of frustration.

Wow, I have no idea. Don't worry too much about analyzing all of your dreams, when I've looked up my dream meanings, they have like NEVER made sense to me. I can relate to the first part of your dream, as I have drempt that as well. For the part about the aliens, I have no idea. You're funny!

fairly simple really... they say people in your dreams are not really people just what in your life that person reminds you of. so it could me that the dreamer is insecure about being cheated on and the whole killing aliens part means that he is probably ready to move on.. killing is symbolic to moving on.. his own death means he has made the decision to move on.

It means you are a homicidal maniac and should be comitted before killing people (if you have not already). Alternatively, it's a replay of your actual experience in previous life -- your bf cheated, then you got abducted. How is life out there?

It means that you both need to get jobs or volunteer your time at something more useful that worrying about a DREAM. Live life! Real Life! Don't worry about dreams! They are simply DREAMS.
