As in roaches, spiders, ants, palmetto bugs etc.

I was working in a former office of mine and all the sudden, I felt something fly into my hair! I had no idea what it was but I stood up quickly and tossed my hair around with my hand for a couple of seconds. My hair was clear and so I sat back down to finish some paperwork. Just then, I look up to find a two-inch long palmetto bug crawling across the top of my computer! Needless to say, I freaked! I wouldn't go back in until one of the guys killed it. Nothing like watching three grown men hurdling each other and screaming like girls!

The exterminator was there the next morning.

this is a true story, i swear. a friend got a "zit" on her chest. she didn't think too much of it... it got bigger and started to hurt, but still nothing out of the ordinary. after several weeks like this she decided to pop it. .. and what came out was LOTS of teeny tiny baby bugs. appalling, i know.... i'm freaking out just writing it. aldjfajf.... MY worst bug experience is not nearly as bad. I used to live in the basement of a house (no windows, cool, dark, perfect for the creepy crawlers) so i saw tons of bugs - centipedes, beetles, snakes, spiders.... etc. none of them bothered me much -i'm not too squeemish. UNTIL cricket season. You don't think of crickets being creepy bugs, but they so are. they are disgusting, loud, and huge!!! there were tons of them, and i got no sleep for weeks because they are too big for me to kill... anything that "crunches" when i smush it, i just can't handle... eventually they got into my clothes and several times i would get dressed and feel something later in the day crawling up my leg. the thought of carrying a cricket in your pants for hours freaked the hell out of me. i still have a profound hatred for crickets. ....also, i know snakes are not bugs, but during cold winters snakes would sneak into the basement for warmth. Once i did laundry - picked up the big pile of clothes and dumped them in the washer... when i took them out i found a looong black snake that i had accidentally washed. poor guy.

I drove into the carport at work, only half paying attention and must have detached the bottom half of a HUGE spiderweb. The spider was in the middle which then came flying at my windshield. This thing was 2 inches across! OMG! I forgot that the windshield was there and screamed! LOL! The adrenaline was pumping that morning! No need for coffee!

I backed out and couldn't find the spider, so I went to the drive through car wash before I even got out of the car. To say the least, I was late for work, but I was not about to get out when the spider was missing! YIKES!

I was driving on the interstate during rush hour and something kep catching the corner of my eye. Once at a standstill I looked in the rear view mirror and saw that it was a huge wolf spider. I pulled off the side of the road onto the shoulder, grabbed my unbrella and started swatting at it. A very nice older man finally pulled over and shooed it out of the backseat for me. I about had a heart attack as I had just moved from Minnesota and had never had such a close encounter with a large furry spider.

Bugs and i have a long long history. I dont have a problem with bugs so much as SPIDERS.

I catch bats, snakes, mice, bugs... anything, they dont bother me. but spiders seriously make my skin crawl.

Lets see, once when i was a kid i was brushing my teeth and this huge wolf spider fell from the ceiling and landed RIGHT on my toothbrush. Another time i was walking into my bedroom barefoot and i felt this little *pop* and it was a HUUUUUGE *** spider SQUISHED to the bottom of my foot. Another time i was walking out the back door and above the door i noticed THE BIGGEST spider handing in the corner. This thing was literally too big to fit in a peanut butter jar. (i know because i tried to get it in). It was huuuuuuuge with holes on its abdomen and white with fuzzy hairs all over and blue on its legs... ohhh it was sooooo gross. it was sooo sooo sooo soooo big. I didnt know upstate new york could have spiders of that size.

ew ew ew.

I am totally terrified of spiders, would rather see a snake as a spider. One day at my grandparents house, I felt like someone or something was staring at me. As I looked up at the ceiling, there was this huge spider, I was so terrified that I couldn't move. All I could do was scream. My sister gets up, grabs a flyswatter to kill the spider. I told her not to knock that spider toward me and she said she wasn't. Next thing I know, the spider goes flying in my mouth!!!!!!!!!!!!! I could have killed my sister...just kidding....
Since that incident..I am more terrified of spiders.
I bet it was funny to have watched those men scream like girls.!!!!!!

When I was younger, I ran through a huge spiderweb between two trees and I was absolutely terrified that I had the spider on me! Since then, I hate spiders and I cannot stand the feel of a spiderweb; I totally freak out!

One time I stepped on a large spider at the request of a couple of shrieking ladies. I had on dress shoes and then as soon as I stepped on the top carpeted step the spider guts made me fall down and I tore 2 ligaments in my left ankle. I had to go to the emergency room and explain how I got hurt.

When I was young..I was chasing after a baseball and it went into some bushes..I ran in after it and ran right upon a web with the biggest spider I have ever seen in my life. It was just a breath away from my face.I have not let that image leave my mind for over 40 years.

My husband and I used to rent a duplex in the boonies. After my son was born, I would take him to the living room so I could at least watch TV in the middle of the night when he needed to be fed. One night, I saw something scurry across the ceiling out of the corner of my eye. With only the light from the TV, I couldn't quite make out what it was. Since it was 2am and I didn't see it again, I just thought it was because I was tired. I went back to my program on the TV and continued to feed my son until I felt something on the back of my neck. I quickly and carefully put my son back to bed and RAN to the bathroom! There was a HUGE millipede on my shoulder! EWWWWW! Thank God I didn't put my son on that particular shoulder when I carried him back to his room! From that night on, I checked as best I could for those damn things before I got my son to feed him!

I was wearing a pair of sandals and working at my computer and I felt something on my toes. I looked and there was a centapede atleast 4 inches long and gross looking. I freaked out and made my co-worker find it and kill it before I would sit back down at my desk. I still have night mares and have never worn sandals to work again.
