He is 12 and he does wash his face daily, and he uses astrigent. Which cleaners has worked the best for your face and which astrigent has as well. And which product do you recommend to help his battle. The zits are mostly on his forehand from him sweating in sports and on his nose.

there is a treatment you can go to the dermatologist for. you have to ask them what it is called but I will tell you what they do. They use some kind of ice (maybe dry ice?) mixture in a cup and put it on the skin with a cotton swab. It is an in office treatment but will clear up the skin for about two weeks. I had it when I was younger.

My 16 year old son uses the Tea Tree Oil skin care line from the body shop. It has worked amazing for him. There is a face wash for the shower, a light moisturizing gel you put on to waer thru the day and a little stick to dab on problem spots. Very affordable and I've been known to use it too.

It sounds really basic but Clearacle. It cleared up my skin, that and drinking more water. I also use Neutrogena make up but I would not put make up on your son. If not take him to the dermatologist they have better answers. Good luck. And tell him not touch his face that adds more dirt and oil.

Some people react well to products containing benzoyl peroxide. I never had any luck with them, as they caused my skin to get too dry. You might want to check with a dermatologist.
