It has nothing to do with the wife being good enough. Men are visual creatures, we are excited by what we see. Women on the other hand are more emotional and base a lot on what they feel. A man looking is normal, it's when he doesn't look that should worry you because then there may be a problem with his libido which will result in a lower sex drive with his wonderful wife.

While ogling is crass and boorish, so are most men.
The science of it is pretty simple: males are supposed to spread their genetic material as broadly as possible to increase the influence of their heritage on future generations. In order to accomplish this daunting task, males have been designed as "visual" hunters ... drawn to physicality at least initially.
By the way, this is not to imply that men are more promiscuous than women. There are numerous studies that indicate that, while women are driven by very different motivations, they are every bit as willing to introduce a varied genetic pattern into the old bloodline.
So blame it on biology, and slap the old dog upside the head when you catch him eyeballing ... just not done (overtly, anyway).

I sure can see why this bothers you! My first husband did that to me and i never felt good enough or loved by him either. This is not fair to you or your marriage at all! Let him know how much this bothers you and he needs to stop. I have been there and it will only get worse. You are right they dont have to make it obvious! Try dressing sexier and nicer for him and see if this changes anything at all! If he does not stop he may need counseling and help for this problem! If you ever need to talk i am here!

Men will be men, if they arent looking youd better be worried, cause they are either dead or dying. We look at all women ugly and gorgeous, whats wrong with looking at something that looks nice? SHould I not look at a flower or a nice painting? Quit being so insecure and just realize this is men, doesnt mean they are going to cheat, is just what we do.

I agree with intelligent.. It's just a natural impulse and I think most of the time it's hard for them not to notice but as long as the woman is secure in her relationship with him, it shouldn't be a problem. I find myself looking at guys too but it doesn't mean anything to me and my husband knows that.

I totally agree. My husband has actually turned to look at them once they have gone by. It just makes us feel a bit insecure. Look guys, but dont be so obvious.

I think that after a while of women looking past our looking, we think that our wives or girlfriends dont really notice us doing it. Sometimes other women have great bodies or great this or that, but that doesnt mean that we want to leave you all for them or even sleep with them.

It's a natural instinct. But as long as he comes home every night and there are no problems in bed, I wouldn't worry about it. Guys are just like that.

Why wouldn't they look? By looking they are not saying their wives are not good enough, just that they enjoy beautiful things. If both people are secure in the relationship, it shouldn't be a problem.
