Honestly speaking, nowadays we can't really tell the difference based on features alone. For example, i'm a singaporean chinese but many people thought i'm a japanese. some thought i'm a korean or taiwanese.
Based on culture, japanese people are a very strongly united race. They stick together wherever they go.
Korean men are egoistic. They talk loudly & treat their women like ****. Singaporean chinese are the most humble. mainland chinese love to cheat, kill & rob..

A Chinese is yellow skinned and skinny. Speaks Chinese.
A Japanese is red skinned and rounded face, more bodied too. Speaks Japanese.

i thik chinese have more almond shaped eyes. Japanese seem to have bigger eyes.. thre are sutble differences. i often sit and look at different asiansand try to distinguish the different features.
