Well the answer I'm leaning towards is NO but if Messiah comes one day as Jewish religion prophesises (actually they took this from Zoroastronists) then yes.
Lets examine for a second a source of conflicts on Earth. People usually fight because one has something better then the other or one wants to have something else. Usually wars are about the strong taking something away from the weak. As such it is a part of Darwinian theory that we will always have wars. Democracy and Communism both adressed the issue of inequality but it was always clear that that alone will not stop wars. People are looking for immidiate gratifiation failing to realize that peaceful existance would benifit all participants in the long run (look at the USA in its early history... democracy had time to develop because of Geography and now US is a world leader). Science of course develops slightly better in war (sadly)
The primitive motivations of the human race say no, there never will be peace on Earth.

Peace means different things to different cultures. First, there must be an agreement on what "peace" means. What does a world "at peace" look like? What does and does not happen in that world? What is and isn't allowed and who decides?
That, after all, is what ALL the fighting is about. Who decides!

hey darci-read your bio like your attitude-that is what tells me we will someday have peace on earth-dont think to soon but do think that it will happen-all we have to do is keep spreading some light-i do believe that everyday more and more people mature a little further and someday maybe the whole species or at least enough so it wont matter-lots of love keep the peace old hippie
