I used to love playing that on my PC, but the version is so out of date, and I was wondering if they make a cd-rom version.....I've never been able to beat the game......and I want to play it again. Anything on Ebay? Any stores in NC that might have it?

The sequel was "Day of the Tentacle", and it was funny as hell. It did come back in CD format. You might want to try that instead.
Got both games, run a 486 just to play the older ones.

While you could find it on eBay if you were to look hard enough, expect a substantial amount of trouble getting it to run. Windows operating systems and applications are not entirely backwards compatible.

Day of the Tentacle is way better and theres places online you can get it for free
