Assuming you keep the water shallow, cool and don't run the water with her in the tub-allow her to choose what toy she wants to take in with her. If you wash her hair during the bath do you get water in her eyes. It can be scarry. Try the dry wash cloth over her eyes, she can hold it. You have alot of good suggestions above too. Talk to her too. Good luck.

At her age, her little body needs sleep. I recommend you're making her have a sleep at noon. Lie down consisting of her if mandatory, yet enable her relax for more suitable or less an hour! you'll locate she will be in a position to fall asleep even with the undeniable fact that if its in straightforward words 20 minutes or so. Make a definate recurring for the nighttime. Supper say at 6.00, observed by ability of a tremendous relaxing bathtub. make sure the domicile has calmed down, television off etc.save bathtub calm too, then once she is wearing her pj's, take her to her room and skim her a tale or 2. earlier you do, tell her that when we've study some memories, it truly is sleep time! Cuddle and kiss her, and upon getting settled her in her mattress ... it truly is it!!! If she receives up,you're taking her back to mattress, say nightie, and go away. interact in no communique consisting of her. you've gotten to target this some circumstances, yet she will be in a position to get the message ultimately. you need to locate it takes an nighttime or 2,yet interior the properly it really is definately properly worth it! ensure that you do compromise her mutually each and every evening. i imagine she has were given herself into an overdrive ... because little ones should be getting more suitable or less 12 hours!! With recurring and determination you receives there. good success!!

What do her parents do? They should be able to give you some hints on what works.

Some ideas... Give a sponge bath instead. Give her a bath in a baby swimming pool; get into your bathing suit and get in with her. Let her sit on the edge of the bathtub (or on an upside-down huge bowl) so that only her feet are *in* the water.

Babalon has it. I had the same problem. I had one of those bath chairs for the sink and my son hated every mintue of it. I started taking look warm showers with him. I would wash him as I held him close to my body. After the 3rd or 4th, the crying stopped and since then he has never cried at bath time. He is 7 now.

My son hated baths as well but I found that taking him in the shower with me and holding him close really helped and now he's an active three year old that showers everyday (usually until the hot water runs out, if I let him).

Will she tolerate a sponge bath? Could you just wash the bits that have gotten dirty during the course of the day? Unlike some sweaty adults, babies don't always need to bathe everyday.

maybe you should let her hold her hand in water and when she is smiling or happy then put her in, maybe her skin is sensitive so try that baby bubble bath and cooling the water off a bit! good luck!
