I've been watering my fly trap once every morning for about a year, and it's been doing fine. But lately it's been getting really droopy. It's not being overawatered or anything, so I cant figure out whats wrong. It's on my kitchen window sill, and it's never really caught bugs, so I've always fed them to it, usually moths or small crickets.

Welcome to the international of carnivorous flowers! they are many times perplexing to get the carry of. in accordance with what you've written I going to assert it truly is wonder (wonder from transferring from one surroundings to a distinct). First, those are outside flowers and they want a good number of sunlight and a good number of interest because the water they want to sit down down in evaporates particularly instantly interior the summer season warmth. outside is the position they get their nutrients too. even with the actuality that, with fly traps it truly is what's lower than the soil that is significant, no longer what's on properly. The tuber lower than the soil line is likely in basic terms advantageous. even with the undeniable fact that if there is not any plant on properly it is going to nevertheless regrow in spring! save it moist for something of the summer season and as fall techniques initiate taking under consideration further and extra days out of the water tray so as that by ability of the time of the first frost they are damp (no longer drenched like they should be in summer season as they are swamp flowers). enable it get chilly in iciness, even freezing in ok, in basic terms no longer to a lot lower than 30F. I stay in Washington state and that i save mine in an unheated outbuilding in basic terms to save the snow off of them. In spring initiate to slowly water in opposite order of what you probably did in fall. do not feed it something even with the undeniable fact that the dis. water you've been utilising. you are able to also use RO water or assemble rain water. Oh, and do not pretend holiday the heads. This kills the guy heads swifter than regularly occurring.
