While having sex your water broke and you have lower back pain? You are in labor. Sex can bring on labor in the last few weeks, especially if you have an orgasm.
Many women experience "back labor" where they feel the pain in their lower back. The most frequent cause of this is the baby's position, usually posterior (facing away from your spine). Changing positions and doing pelvic rocks will help alleviate the pain and encourage the baby to rotate into a more favorable position.
Grab your suitcase and head for the hospital. You will have that baby with the next 24 hours unless the doctor decides to stop the labor with drugs.
Good luck and congratulations.

I had my water broken at the hospital, and when I stood up from a lying down position, it felt like when you're on your period and using only pads, not tampons, and you can sometimes feel the blood trickle out. I'm not sure how long ago you wrote your original question, but I strongly suggest you go to the hospital. If you were wrong, then oh well...they send you home and you'll know everything was OK. If you're right, your baby needs help.

When you're standing up, does the water come trickling down your legs? It just might be that your water broke. There are things that will help you find out if it's amniotic fluid or not: the water should not smell like urine, it should smell sweet, and it's a pale, straw-colored fluid. If it still keeps on coming out, call your doctor for instructions.
When my water bag broke, I was told by the doctor beforehand to go straight to the hospital, so I did. 10 hours later the baby came out.
Goodluck to you!

Usually when your water breaks its fast and every thing is wet. Some women may "spring a leak" my friend did and it was a very slow water break...you may want to call your doctor or talk to a medical information line. If you are in Ontario you can call TeleHealth @ 1-866-797-0000 this is free access to a registered nurse.

When my water broke, it only leaked out when I walked, so I didn't know what was going on. The baby's head was acting like a cork and blocking my water. I thought I had a bladder control problem so I called my doctor and he told me to go to the hospital

You may be leaking and need to go to the doctor so they can see if it's amniotic fluid leaking out. If it is, they might want to induce you shortly because there is a risk of infection. I had a leak days before I went into labor and did not realize it because it was so little. Call your doctor NOW.

Everyone is telling you to go to the hospital for the right reason but the one important thing that everyone is forgetting to tell you is that you are only 34 weeks pregnant and you need to seek medical help right away for you and your baby. 34 weeks is early my dear so stop wasting time on the computer and go get help for you self and your baby before it is to late and something happens.

yep you need to go to the er now. My water started leaking and I wasn't sure what it was till my doc sent me to the L and D to be induced. Once your bag starts leaking the baby only has 24 hours to be born, cause the bag is his protection.
