i view them generally as being hard working and good with technology. (a stereotype i know, but i think there is some truth to it.) also they seem to be good fathers and very hospitable. but these are mostly cultural things, i try to reserve judging the individual until i know them. also i think when making a broad cultural judgment, you have to look at other factors: for instance are they Hindu, Muslim, Christian or another religion?

I view them as people just like anyone else. I am a white, female, American and I have many friends that are Asian and Indian. My daughter's 2 best friends are Laotian, and I have dated men from all different nationalities.

This is a difficult question to answer, since it is too general. As a European who was born in Africa and grew up in India, I am personally very fond of Indians.
However, there are those for whom any face that is not white is automatically a sign of inferiority.
And I have heard some female friends complaining about Indian men (many of them quite young) pestering them online with a lot of unwanted attention.
I hope this contribution - as meagre as it is - might be helpful.

As pushey and domineering--- I suppose that is because they were brought up under the cast system where a woman is not worth much and needs to be beaten often!

i avoid the businesses i know are owned by them, in my area it is mainly convenience stores. they give me the feeling they want me out as soon as possible. if i was a store owner, i would want people to look around...impulse buying is big. and they put up a sign by the bathroom that you must buy something to use them. Hello! where i live, bathroom facilities are a free courtesy, like grocery carry out.
