Front of the House positions in restaurants include Host/Hostess, Waiter/Waitress, Cashier, Bartender......the positions that the person will be in contact with or be seen by the customers.

The front of the house in the restaurant business is considered the dining room area.
The back of the house is the kitchen
So obviously the positions would be a waiter,busboy, maitre'd

Back of house means like cooks, dishwashers, etc. Front of house is servers, hosts, bartenders, front of house managers, etc.
