Consider: The call came from an entity who could not possibly know where he was in the first place and, even in she (or anybody) knew, how could they possibly know what the phone number of that particular phone in that particular building could be? Through information? Come on now. Jack fell for the oldest trick in the book: come here, daddy, it's your daughter. Sheeze!

why can't they just kill off his annoying daughter and avoid any more ridiculous plots involving her -period???lol.... well I guess they had to set up next season some way... but him falling for a stunt like that says he was definitely not "on his game" at that moment...which is hard to believe with his expertise and training....unless they are trying to show that his emotions got the best of him in his hope to reconcile with his bratty ( brain dead) daughter...now who in the world would hold such a grudge against their loved one after finding out they were alive and why they had to keep the pretense of being dead -up for so long any way ?? just kill her off already....lol..

Yeah I agree, I was rather disappointed in that ending. Why would they take a call and forward it to an anonomous building instead of just saying Jack, your daughter is on the phone. CTU does however have a hard time securing the primeter of almost any building they surround. I wonder how all those bad guys dressed in black were able to sneak Jack out. Anyone else think the chinese got that ship with Jack on it out into open water so fast?
