When you are with a girl/guy for 3+ years and ya'll have a good relationship..but the person tells you they don't think u're marriage material, what the hell does that leave u with, if anything?
Honestly, beside the 'companionship' (aka booty)..and the fact that you can parade around saying u're with someone, if this person and u have no long term potential..is there any point in staying with them?

Sounds like you know the answer. I don't see a point in staying with someone who does not see a future with you. A waste of time if you ask me. Move on and find that person who appreciates you and does see you as "marriage material". Good luck!

It depends. If you are looking at it from long term point of view, such relationships are meaningles, a complete waste of time. Otherwise they do serve some purpose. They keep you involved till you meet a person with whom you can have long relationship. Relationships are organic in nature. They are born, they grow and they wither away. You should when is the time to move on. Otherwise the relationships like organic substances start stinking.

If they feel that way about you after 3 yrs it just means that him/her are ready to try something else. Why stay when you know is not going to end up in marriage. It's always good to have someone but why waste your time with someone that is ready to move on somewhere else and doesn't include you in their future.

the fact that the person has already decided you aren't worth sharing his/her life means they are stringing you along for fun.if you are young like below 24 it's okey coz you can have fun but if you have marriage in mind,that person is no good.

Depends on what you are looking for. If it is marriage then it is time to move on . If you are ok with things as is then just go with the flow.

depending on how you define marriage material....is it financial stability? social compatibility? that's why you are in a relationship to learn about the person and see if it grows or stay stagnant.....
