Dallas City Search has a great resaturant guide, that has kid friendly as one of its categories. It lists 1868 restaurants, so it's hard to narrow down the best even in a category.

Red Robin's in the Cedar Hill area is pretty kid friendly and has "bottomless fries" which kids love. you can also try Crystal's Pizza...it has games and all kinds of things, but not as overwhelming as Chuckie Cheese.

the magic time machine in addison off of beltline rd they have the waiters and waitresses dressed up in different costumes like superman pirates of the carribean snow white alice in wonderland and they have different theme rooms to sit in its a blast for a kid and not real pricey

The MAGIC TIME MACHINE! ^_^ Be prepared for a bit of a bill, but if you're up for it, go for the 'Roman Orgy'. ... and DON'T ask them where the bathroom is!!! It's hidden behind the front desk where you wait for the hostess. All the employees dress up in costumes, it's really a blast! ^_^
