one day closer than yesterday.

When there is a peace treaty signed in israel, when the jews build their temple, when they scarifice the red calf, when they reviel the ark... THEN we'll know we're getting close.

From the moment of birth we begin the journey towards death. Earth is alive. It too began its journey towards death in that moment of its birth. This "end of the world" philosophy of scaring people into religion you are hinting at will NOT slow the process nor will it bring "the unsaved" to salvation. In fact it is proven to do just the opposite. Fear is not an effective method to teach discipline. This is also a danger theory, because, why should we protect the Earth if it is already doomed by God?

"It's the end of the world as we know it...and I feeel fiiiiiiine!" :)

I think the world is evolving every day. In some ways, this change is toward an end, but in others, a beginning, and of course some are in between.

yep..if you follow science, the sun, a star, also have a life. It will die one day - but that day is a thousand years from now and you will have been dead by that time. Not only the sun though, there are myriads of things that will have to end in time - ice melting, etc..you just look around you. But certainly not today.
