No, first, your boyfriend has to have his green card for over 5 years, and did not return to Sudan longer than 6 months during that period. After 5 years. He has to pass a exam hold by government. if he pass that exam, he can be a citizen then.

No. He would be allowed to apply for the green card on the basis of marriage, but since he has already got that, it will not help. You can get citizenship after being a resident for many years (think its 7 years or somethign like that) and he can get that independent of you.

Marrying you won't change your boyfriend's status, nor will it affect his ability to become a citizen. Since he is already a permanent resident (Green card holder), he is already eligible to apply for citizenship after having had his green card for five years and proving that he is law abiding, knows US civics, can speak English etc.

No. He still has to apply and go through the process.He will automatically become a citizen after being married to you for 2 years.

1. a green card makes you a resident alien, NOT A CITIZEN.
2. marriage to a resident alien doesnt change that status
3. marriage alone will not make an illegal alien a resident alien.
4. if he wants to be US citizen he has to apply for citizenship

No it will not make him citizen because my brother married a girl from another country and that didn't make her citizen.

It would not automatically make him a citizen. He would still have to apply and a immigration representative would want to meet with you both.

yes but the immagtion services have to know that you and your boyfriend do love each other and arent just doing this to get in america
