Im looking for a song called "Dont wanna be kissed" apparantly I was told that this song belongs to Miles Davis but he doesn't sing!! I found the music under his name but I want the vocals, do u know who sings it?? AND I am a huge jazz music fan, if u want to reccomend jazz artists that u are familiar with, By all means!!! and reccomendation is welcome...

i'd reccommend joe pass, ella fitzgerald, art blakey, monk, stan getz...
on the newest jazz, try "tourist" by st. germain and any album of "Pink Martini" (though this last one is not jazz but salsa with jazz touches)

Can't help you out with part one of your question...but as far as recommendations go, check out Thelonius Monk. The man's amazing-- a gifted pianist.
If you dig Miles, you'll also probably like John Coltrane.
As far as contemporary stuff goes, the French have a pretty strong scene nowadays, as do the Czechs.

For modern jazz, try Bela Fleck. Amazing stuff. His bass player is probably the best in the world.
