Ric Flair just recently got married and is taking some time off. HHH was his best man. He will be returning soon. Shawn Michaels has needed minor surgery for a while and WWE finally made Shawn get it. He didn't suffer any injury by the spirit squad. They just said he would need surgery after that to set up the kayfabe for him returning at Vengence to reform DX.

And as for Flair - Well, the WWE didn't renew his contract... So he's gone...
