The very fact that we haven't been visited by people from the future proves that time travel is not possible. But, on the other hand, maybe all of these sightings of UFOs are actually time travellers...

Yep, I follow you.
I look at it this way: Time is a type of measurement that humans have created just like the mile and the gallon and what not. Time is just a measure of existence. Therefore time travel is not possible. It would be like trying to move an object without gravity or by moving it.
While it may be mathematically possible, remember that that's all it is. Anything can be mathematically possible. You can make little formulas and collect data on different things, and mathematically, it's possible. But it may not be possible in the terms of daily life.
With the fact that we haven't been visited by a future venturer might mean that time travel isn't possible. If there were somebody from the future and say he goes back in time only a couple of years, then himself two years ago would disapear into thin air because there cannot be one person in two places at the same exact time. This would violate every single law, norm, or theory in physics, biology, chemistry, society, anything really, just name it.
These are just a few of my thoughts on why time travel is not possible

You see when an entity travels back in time or forward in time they can not alter the past and the future. The past and future can not be changed no matter what. Basically no paradox can happen at all. Many time travelers keep their time machines a secret. Those that do reveal that they are time travelers will be thought as crazy. Basically no one will believe that they are time travelers. We could not only be visited by time travelers from the future but we could also be visited by time travelers from the past. If the time machine is or was invented it will be kept a secret. The public will never know about it. You know how valuable a time machine will be?

Part of the problem is that time travel is only possible by the laws of physics as far back as the point when the first time machine was created. Further back and it's impossible by the laws of physics. The fact that we haven't been visited by future travellers simply means we haven't invented the time machine yet. When and if it is, we may just see those visitors. You never know.

A plausible theory, however you neglect the fact that we don't know everything about math and physics and so on yet. I mean, according to the currently known laws of physics, a bee shouldn't be able to fly. If we can be wrong about that, what else might we be wrong about?
And anyway, if a guy showed up on the street and told you he was from the year 2525, would you believe him? I doubt it. He'd probably end up stuck in a mental institution or something.

Time is just like an *unruly horse*
but in this case... this horse only knows to move ahead... it cannot turn back... its natural instinct is to move forward...
if u can STOP or even PAUSE the growing age of human... than virtually time will stop...
but tell me, if innovation lets us to stop our age... we wud merely stop it and not bring it back... Once u r 19 u can't be 18 until ur death dude !

Maybe not only will technology advance, but wisdom will as well, and that will govern their use of time travel, and whether they allow us to be aware of it. Didn't they destroy the DeLorean?
