Hello cuddlebunny, I think that for many couples, they can and do fall into certain routines that make their lives just a series of habits or going through the motions if you will. There are others though and I include my wife and I when I say this that make an effort to keep things fresh and positive. This Saturday will be 11 years that we have been married and I can honestly say that we are happier and more in love now than we were on our wedding day! You both just have to be willing to work at things!
Good question

Well my man and I have been together 20 years and we are still in love with one another and are the best of friends... if you are asking this question for yourself you need to get some counseling to see what is going on with your relationship...yes comfort can be a part of it and there is nothing wrong with that either.. relationships tend to change about two years into it, they start to settle in for the long haul or they split up because they don't love one another any longer if they ever did.....

i think that now a days with the divorce rate the way it is that couples that are together and want to stay together are in love. I think that if they were not they would join the rest of the world and get a divorce. i love my husband very much and don't see me ever leaving him but if he stopped loving me i would not want him to stay with me .

Could be a combination of both... It is definitley commitment and love and usually more then just a habit. It is a choice!

Young love has a lot of sexual excitement to it and is based more on physical needs and wants. Older love is spiritual and mental. It also has a sense of security and peace.
