Can anybody tell me why pepper makes people sneeze?

The particles irritate the lining in your nose, and your body recognises it as foreign matter that it needs to expel....quick. So the sneeze happens to push the pepper out...far and fast.

when any foreign particle enters the nose it reacts by sneezing so that the particles move out of the nose.... achoo....
