talk to him, when your daughter is not there. be open about it. You say you can get along so this should not be a problem. tell him you don't mind him joining you on the holiday but ask him about his expectations. If he has the same intents as you, you can all go and have a good time. Also talk to your daughter and tell her honestly that you and her father are through, that you wont get back together so she doesnt have her hopes up. just be open and honest with both of them and you will all have a good time.

She invited him before discussing it with you? He has decided to go? Does that mean you already told him he could? If you are going on vacation together and get along and are friends and have a child together why dont you just remarry?

That is precisely any child's dream to have their parents get back together. Is this something mom wants as well???
I feel it would be a large mistake to build up her dream!
This could be the longest vacation for you all.......

think twice or thrice. if you are comfortable being with him for the rest of the vacation. vacation is enjoying yourself, relaxing... can you do those things since he'll be with you?

It would be okay as long as you make sure he is going so he can be with her not you ( unless you want him back ). Don't send her mix messages either, be very careful..........
