Is everything in your life very concrete.....cut and dry? Or is life a very abstract concept for you that is ever changing and full of surprises?

The older I get life becomes increasingly abstract. When I was younger everything was very black and white. Now I find that many of my perceptions are not so black and white but rather grey. I have come to recognize that a person's perception is their reality, thus creating a constantly changing thought process of the educated or philosophical individual as they struggle to understand the various realities that seemingly coexist. It is really quite fascinating that there is not more struggles in the world given that each individual has their own perception of everything that occurs. While we may surround ourselves with similar thought processes there seems to be continual relativity to the perception that we do not all perceive everything the same. This creates meaningful and sometimes controversial conversation..

Nothing in my life is black and white, not even penguins, nuns and zebras.

It goes way beyond technicolor and seems to contain sparkle patterns like looking at a laser picture or the "working side" of a CD or DVD. My here and now is not a frozen concept. My path is not the straight and narrow.

At any moment I can round a corner straight into a smiling buxom beauty or cross an empty street and still get hit by that 18 wheeler. Life is a roller coaster floating in an ocean. I keep my eyes open an still miss so much.

When I grew up I was like a B&W TV Set...with only 3 channels - Everything was cut and dry...and I had maybe 3 thoughts to choose from...all given to me by a family of bigger B&W TV Set's and their 3 thoughts.

Around puberty, my Grandfather, by encouraging me to have my own thoughts and to experience as much of life as passionately as I could, opened my eyes and my mind to the marvels of Cable Television and 24 hour Technicolor in Dolby Surround Sound!!! So while I sometimes fall back on those 3 thoughts I learned early on, to try and live my life with as much passion and with as many surprises as possible.

Without it my life would be in a rut.

Black and White... I'm definitely a Film Noir kind of guy...;)

I guess I'd say I view my life as mostly Black and White, with strategically placed accents of color (like the movie SIN CITY); a life of 'run-of-the-mill' tedium occasionally spiked with brief, exquisite moments of glorious and excruciating 'awareness'...

As I see it,...Life's surprises are not viewed in the patent chromatics of Technicolor, nor in the starkness of B&W. Rather, the surprises lie within the subtle hues and shades of each...

I don't think any person's life can be black and white 100%.

The only thing I can count on is how happy I am, I want to travel the world now!
Other than that, it's full of surprises, I have kids and no time!

Life is a miracle and I am always amazed at what is out there. It is a free flowing event that I am happy to be a part of. My home is what I like to call organized chaos. Everything has a place and is in its place but it is constantly ever changing for the times. I am always welcoming the new and different and trying to make it a "home" where everyone can put up their feet (not on the coffee table please) and feel comfortable. :)

Well, being a dog, I only see things in black and white and shades in between. In my next life I hope to be a primate. My life is concrete, cemented in rigid dogma( I'm not just a woofing), with a dogged pursuit of the eternal truth. Other than that, I spend most of my time drooling and dreaming of fire hydrants. What a pisser.

Ooooh, I see life in scintillating colors. Even the things I dislike come at me in bright red. I'm pretty stubborn about some things, but observing life is ever-changing and full of random color.

I try to be as fluid in my thinking, my values and my appraoch to a situation. We cant interpolate past data for present analysis and future actions and all this talk about trends, historical data is at most like a comfortable pillow for rational decision making. Human mind finds comfort in logic and logic only explains a already existing process and is highly incapable in handling the upcoming events. While all my talk may look like a logical explanations , i only know how much difficult it is for me to try and explain it to you.
