Well i can tell you ACDC are an Australian Rock band that formed in 1973 in Sydney NSW With Original Members Malcom Young, Colin Burgess, Larry Van Kreidt, and Dave Evans, most of these boys were previous members of bands before forming ACDC, and were well accustomed the fickle world of music.
Angus Young was then bought in as second guitarist, not long after the band was formed, in the early days the boys performed in Newton in Sydney, in a garage and after Angus and Malcom's sister saw the sign on a sewing machine they named their band ACDC.
Their first ever concert was performed NYE 1973, in Chequers in Sydney, alot of the music they performed that night was covers, but there were two original unrecordeds done that night also.....

In Feb of 74, they cut their first album with EMI records, which is where George Young also filled in while, looking for a new drummer, after Larry collapsed on stage an was fired for alcohol and drug abuse after to many drunken binges.
Noel Taylor, and Neil Smith also joined the band around this time....and Malcom Young filled in with the band Jasper as Bass player. The boys were also living Hapton Court Hotel, during this time (at the time that was one of the ritziest hotels available in Sydney).
By April of the same year, Angus is wearing the famed school boy outfit, that he was so well known for, Noel Taylor and Neil Smith are also fired around the same time.
Rob Bailey and Peter Clack are asked to join the band , to replace the others recently fired, they play their first gig at Victoria Park.
In May they played at Sydney Opera House as a support for Stevie Wright, in front of 2,500 people, 10,000 people had to be turned away that night!!!!! So already their fan base was building.
In June and July, they then signed with Albert records and did their first Australian Tour, in that order.
In the August, there was the supporting tour for Lou Reed in his "Walk the Wildside' tour. They also Signed Bon Scot after meeting him in Adelaide, Dave Evans is replaced by Dennis O'lauglin, and the boys live it up in perth supporting the infamous 'Carlotta' - Australia's first official drag queen for six weeks.
Bon Scot, played with the band for the first time in Adelaide in the Sept of 74 in a little hotel in the northern suburbs called Pooraka.
After this the offers are flying in and the boys dont know where to look, already fame is starting to go to their heads and the whirlwind begins for them. Dates in Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney for the Hard Rock Gay Nights . A new manager signs on, Michael Browning.....there is trouble from the begining they moved to melbourne by the manager.
In the December of 74, there is a small tour of South Australia, and the NYE concert which is becoming quite the thing, is held in Melbourne at Festival Hall.
In January of 75 Bailey and clack are fired, and Van Kreidt is returned breifly, and soon is packing his bags again, George Young takes on the Bass control.
Sunbury Festival, is one of Australia's biggest Rock Festivals, ACDC play there on the 25th of that year, and after a fight with Deep Purple roadies, leave without playing to the thousands of screaming fans.
Mark Evans joins as bassist in the March, they have their first apperance on 'Countdown' with Molly Meldrum and play a relief concert (one of the first EVER in the world)for Bangladesh in Melbourne at the Myer Music Bowl.
By June they have reached superstar status, the first album "High Voltage" receives a golden award.
From September to December that year there was a national tour.
75 NYE concert played in Adelaide.
The European Tour starts in March of 76, first concert held at the 'Red Cow' , and are reputed by the British press to be 'rumoured' members of the "punk movement", which they are quick to dispell. The boys return home in the December, only to have to start the Australian leg of their "Giant Dose of Rock and Roll Tour".
In Feb of 77 there are three major concerts done 'these are the last Bon Scot is officially involved in they were held in Adelaide, Melbourne and Perth. The end of Feb they return to Uk for a tour which would take them through until the end of March.
In April of 77 there is an altercation between Malcom Young and Black Sabbath guitarist Geezer Butler and ACDC are kicked of the tour.
May of 77 Evans is sacked, Cliff Williams Joins.
End of July to middle of Sept the boys have their US tour, then its straight back to UK for another tour, until middle of November, then they are back in US until end of December.No NYE concert in Australia this year.
Jan of 78, Cliff Williams and their english roadies are refused work visa's which postpones their next tour dates.
But is rebooked for April through end of May in UK.
June to October, see's another US tour, October until end of November back in the UK.No concert in Australia for NYE again in 78.
Feb of 79 sees, Eddie Krammer hired to work drums, while Bon Scot gets medical treatment for a condition that was diagnosed around the same time he was last involved in the tours.
March through end of April, sees tour scraped again due to Visa problems, for Japan and US.
May through December US tour, then there are a number of tours (small ones) worldwide. Australia misses out again.
January 1980 - Bon Scot appears in his last concerts in UK, and in Febuary records some solo's that will not be released in 1998........by the 18th of Febuary Bon Scot is dead after being left in a car all night, suffacation after choking on his own vomit, after alcohol poisoning.
On the 1st of March 1980 Bon Scot is buried in Fremantle, Western Australia. Auditions go ahead to find a replacement, Brian Johnston gets the job. End of March the boys are back in the UK recording music and getting ready for next tour, which starts in April and is worldwide. They are away all year, in December all albums have gone double platinum after reaching 10,000 in sales.
Begining of 81 they are still touring, Until Feb, they do their first home tourin four years, starting on the 13th through until the 27th, it is a massive sucess.
In July they return to Paris, France, for recording and further concerts, and the manager is fired, although they stay with their record company.
22 August 1981 Monsters of Rock Concert at Castle Donnington in UK. Other acts involved, Whitesnake, Blue Oyster Cult, Blackfoot, Slade and many others.
November brings another tour, in the US and Canada,they tour into the new year.
January of 82, there is a nomination for best rock band, at the AMA's, Airsupply wins it.
In June they return to Japan for four dates - they have never gone back. They leave their management and resign with Ian Jeffery, their current manager.
Tour dates are cancelled for Europe, due to be taken in July and August.
UK sold out tour dates - September.
Another European tour cancelled in November.
In May of 83 Phillip Rudd is fired, for abuse of drugs and alcohol, and other band members, Simon Wright joins the band.
Another tour is postponed in August, for US, they go anyway and record in LA.
Us tour, starts in October ends at Madison Square Gardens on the 19th of December 1983.
From there on in there are more tours, most people know the information from here on in......i try to think any more tonight my head will explode, i hope this gives you a little bit better back ground regarding these ledgends, as an after thought also, Bon Scot is now buried here in his home state of South Australia in a town not far from where i grew up, many people pilgrimage there every year around his time of death, the town is called Whyalla - i hope you make it here to see it one day, i have twice.
UK dates are as follows......there is no dates to follow but there has been a new album recently due to be released in November of 06, so look out for tours after that, bear in mind their all old men now, and have been doing this a long time......i hope you get to a concert . cheers.
