I have never heard this. But what I do know is that when you get the time of the month, there is a change of hormones, and some women experience more sweating, which can result in body odor.
Don't worry about what you eat. Chocolate will always make you feel good, though!!!

I have had my period for MANY years, and never before have I heard this. I eat anything I want. I think a major thing here that needs to be recognized is that to avoid odors during this time the sanitary napkin or tampon HAS to be changed regularly!! be sure to bathe or shower and stay clean and fresh down there. Hope this helps, good luck.

this is nothing more then a myth my dear...milk helps alot with pms and fish is so healthy for you....it won't make you smell...hygiene is what controls odor...if you feel you smell at that time of the month, try using some of the sanitary wipes, kinda like the baby wipes, but are made for adults and are flush-able (baby wipes are not) and or use some feminine deodorant spray like summer's eve....don't sweat it...you'll be fine, that is a bunch of crap whoever told you that or wherever you read that...

No, that is rubbish. The smell comes from the estrogen in your body. As long as you keep good hygiene and you shower daily you will be fine. But the food has nothing to do with the smell.

I don't know of any foods that will do that, however I do know some women (because of their high estrogen levels I suppose) give off a stronger odor than others during their period.

Come again? I've never heard that, but. what I have heard through old wives tales and my mom (old wife LOL) is that drinking really cold drinks can intensify any abdominal pain a person might have. That's about it my dear, hopefully this helps. Take care!

not at all.when you eat these things it does let your blood smell this is becuz we eat it for it nutrient after the nutrients have been absorbed in the blood the metaborlic waste comming from the food does not pass through the blood but rather passes through the rectum to the anus but not the vagina.

I've never heard of this. I don't know everything so maybe someone has experienced this but I think its most likely just a rumor.

Nope.
I heard a lot of this nonsense when I was a kid, among which:
- You can't eat cod or its skin will appear drawn on your skin
- You can't eat olives, they will show on your skin
- You can't shower or bathe or even wash you hair or you'll die (I'd be dead for loooooooong...)
