I love the Cubs, but I don't hate the White Sox skill. They as a team have crap attitudes trickleing off to their fans and announcers, which is why I can never be a White Sox FAN. If it wasn't for this chemistry, I would have crossed over to the White Sox. I would love if the Cubs could win the world series on their 100th year anniversiry of not winning a world series. It would make it the best thing that has ever happened to me and reward me for being a true Cubs fan over the years.

It's great to see that you are so into baseball. I have had a lifelong love affiar with the SF Giants and like you, they haven't won a world series since I was born! For this to be the Cubs year, they need to get their pitchers healthy as well as their 1st basemen. If everyone comes back healthy and playing well, they could catch the Cardinals who lost Pujols.
I will pull for the Cubs to win their division and maybe meet the Giants in the playoffs. Should that happen though, I can't pull for the Cubs there.

Not me. They will never be any good with the Wood/Prior ambulance clinic bogging down their staff.
And Bartman had nothing to do with the Cubs utter collapse in 2003. They just couldn't get the job done.

Sorry to kill your optimism... but the Cubbies are already too far gone to do anything this year.
Their best hitter, and two of their best pitchers are hurt. Their leadoff man (Juan Pierre) is having an awful year. They can't score runs. They can't pitch...
They've got some serious issues right now.
I'm sorry to say this... but it's time to start looking ahead to next season.

I love the chicago cubbies too. I dont think this is their year though because that was 2003 and they got screwed because of bartman. And for the guy who answered before me. Who is the White Sox??????...............O now i remember the other Chicago team.
