I am going to say NO until Payton Manning proves he can win a big game. Face it everything was on their side and they should have beat the Steelers. Their nemsis Patriots were eliminated the day before. The playoffs would all be in a dome including the Superbowl. Everything was set up for them. So what happens? Manning once again shows he can't seem to win the big game.

Yes I think that they can. Marvin Harrison and Peyton Manning are still the best QB/wideout duo in the league. If Stokley can actually play well again they will have a solid receiving core with Wayne. Running back isn't really a need for concern because of the strong passing game, and Rhodes is a solid back. On defense, Dwight Freeney is amazing, My boy Marlin Jackson from Michigan is going to be a great Cornerback. They still have a very good team despite losing James.

Yes they can. They need to address their protection issues in the post season. Everyone plays the way the Colts want to play during the regular season and when they meet again in the playoffs they flip a switch to beat the Colts (See Steelers in 06 and Patriots in 04, 05) The Colts need to scrap the "Keep doing what we do" stance and do whatever it takes to win, even if it means Dungy grounding Manning from calling plays at the line. Joe Addai is going to be rookie of the year.

I am the biggest Pittsburgh Steelers fan in the world but I must say that the Colts are THE team that scares me the most this year coming up. The reason is because the 2005 Colts looked eeriely similar to the 2004 Steelers that lost to the Patriots in the AFC Championship game. We all know what the Steelers did in 2005....WORLD CHAMPIONS OF THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!

No way - the loss of Edge will hurt the offense and the passing game - they will not be better than last year, and they obviously did not have what it took to win a championship then. Maybe it's time to find a new coach. - Look at what Tampa did after always being on the verge of greatness when Dungy coached there.

I doubt it. Last year was their best shot and they blew it. They've lost Edge and a couple of pretty good defensive players, too. They almost have to have home field advantage througout the playoffs to have a chance to win... their record in outdoor games in December and January isn't very good.

yes they will, they finally got a kicker who can kick the clutch kicks and the loss of James wont hurt because of Addai and Rhodes will fill his shoes. besides, Edge was overrated anyway.
he's an above average back, not a great one.
there's no doubt in my mind that Indy will go all the way

No because they gotta get past the Steelers.

Manning will be like Marino - a great QB with no ring.

it could happen, but see since Bettis is retiring from the NFL i think then there is a possibility. But Jerome wasn't the only good player but who knows.
