My girlfriend is 4 months pregnant (with my child), says she's no longer in love with me. Its been tough recently trying to save up for a house, haven't been together much during the week. I love her very much, and really wanted to be involved with baby but she keeps pushing me away. She also has an extremely short temper and has been known to take things to extremes!!.
Its my 30th B'day tmrw, Havent spoken in a wk, and doesn't look like she will bother calling tomorrow either. I wanted her to come at least for a while to celebrate with me but she refused.
Should I keep trying to keep us together/should I wait for her to call or should I walk away and accept that baby won't have a proper family before its even born?
Help!

I'm sorry you are hurting so much and I really hope this behaviour of your gf is down to her hormones and fears about being a mum. It really can feel overwhelming and at 4 months it starts to feel so real for some women. Try to plan something that you really want to do for your birthday. A treat just for you or with some of your male pals. I don't recommend heavy drinking tho as you'll end up going to see her and making things worse. Yes you should try to keep a relationship going but perhaps focus on your future role as a dad and not on her wanting you or not. Write her a nice letter saying what kind of dad you want to be no matter what happens between you and her, try not to blame or get into your problems and keep your focus on the positive. something good will happen and it will turn round. Take it easy on yourself, go the gym and get ready to be a super dad! Find a way to forgive her and from me thanks for being a good guy, wish I'd had one when I was younger. Big sisterly hug M

Your not the bad person in this relationship but I would say get rid. Its not you that doesnt want anything to do with the baby so dont feel guilty. about walking away. Just find out your rights before the baby is born because she cant stop you from seeing this baby........ move on & find someone better!!! I know its easier said than done but it can be done, have a great birthday!!

Seems as if your girlfriends head is all over the place, she is pregnant and hormonal, I would leave her to cool off first of all do not push her otherwise you will push her further away. Leave it a few days or even a week, if she doesn't contact you over your birthday. Invite her out for a meal or even cook for her buy her flowers and discuss your futures together. Another 5 months and the baba will arrive, you dont want this hanging over your heads as well as sleepless nights, nappies!

Jasus man that is a tough one, i'd love to tell you tell her where to go though she has your child on the way, heres a thought though maybe she got pregnant by someone else and to prepare you both for the inevitable fall out she has started acting like this toward you. If this isent the case just get over her but keep yourself in her good books if you want to see the child

Just be patient with her, in some women pregnances can cause them to behave in such a horrible manner, but you need to have patience. They say that most wome wehn they are expecting a male child they tend to hurt their husbands and when it is a girl they love their men a lot. it is just natural
